Brecknell Willis Composites Ltd (BWC) was formed in 1996 as a result of amalgamating Composite Design Mouldings (a division of Brecknell Willis & Co Ltd) and Strachan & Fox Composites Ltd, which was aquired by the holding group Fandstan Electric Ltd in 1994.
This coalition formed an alliance of existing technology, skills and a wide customer base making us one of the industry leaders in GRP design, manufacture and supply.
We have a committed workforce of 70 operating from three production sites in Chard, Somerset, providing approximately 40,000ft² of manufacturing space.
This is supported by a comprehensive trimming, assembly and finishing department, complete with curing ovens, paint spray bake and spray paint facilities.

We provide Pattern & Mould manufacture, Prototype & Pre-production. We also offer volume production using various techniques including Contact Moulding, Resin Transfer Moulding (RTM) Infusion & Cold Press.

• A quality and finish to meet the appropriate QA standards on a consistent basis
